A MAJOR CRUISE-IN will take place over the Labor Day weekend in Cumberland, Maryland (Exits 43 BCD&A off I-68). All four exits will get you into the "Queen City of the Alleghenies." The cruise-in will be held on the South side of Cumberland (Exit 43B) on Industrial Boulevard beginning at 5 pm and continuing to 9 pm. You'll see all kinds of cars, trucks and motorcycles. About 400 vehicles will be showing at this major cruise-in event.

Some of Cumberland's major businesses are sponsoring the event including Burger King, Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, McDonalds and Diamond Shine Car Wash, and Classic Car Wash. There is still time to register your vehicle in case you'd like to join the show participants. The 4th ANNUAL MODEL T & MODEL A Car and Truck Show will be held September 25 on the Downtown Cumberland Mall (best exit is 43C off I-68). Model T's will be exhibited in the Allegany County Museum at the intersection of North Centre & Baltimore Model T and Model A Car & Truck Show - September 25 Streets with a special display featuring Model T and Model A artifacts. Collectors of these vehicles will be showing their cars on the Downtown Cumberland Mall. A swap meet will be held for selling, buying or trading Model T and Model A parts and accessories. There are several restaurants on and within walking distance of the mall including: Oxford House, City Lights, Baltimore Street Grille, Tivoli, The Tavern on Centre, Subway, The Manhattan, McDonald's, Coney Island, Roy Rogers and Chick fil-A. Two bakeries, M&M and The Back Door Bakery offer all kinds of pastries.
